Source to Shore Energy Advisory

Energy's hardest problems don't respect boundaries between technical and commercial.

Neither do we.

Seven Six Solutions is an independent advisory practice founded by Scott Wilson.

It’s built around a simple observation.

The most expensive mistakes in energy happen at the interface between technical and commercial thinking.

Bids won on optimism.
Contracts committed without understanding deliverability.
Opportunities missed because technical and commercial thinking never properly meet.

That’s the gap Seven Six Solutions exists to address.

I work where technical reality meets commercial judgement.

Usually where the stakes are high and the risk isn’t fully clear.

Projects or investment decisions carrying real technical and commercial risk.
Bids or opportunities that need to stand up before commitment.
Situations where technical and commercial perspectives are misaligned.
Or points where an independent view is needed.

If you’re dealing with a project, bid or investment where these elements need to come together, I’m happy to have a conversation.

Scott Wilson | Founder, Seven Six Solutions

One principle has defined my career: technical excellence and commercial success are inseparable.

I’m a chemical engineer by background, with over 27 years’ experience across flow assurance, operability, and technology-led projects in the energy sector. My focus has been consistent - turning technical insight into commercially meaningful outcomes.

I’ve built and led consulting teams at SPT Group and SLB.
I’ve worked with boards, C-suite leaders, and investors on decisions where technology, risk, and value intersect.
This includes strategy, digital transformation, investment, and due diligence.

I advise private equity and investment funds on technical evaluation. I also support operators and energy services companies on complex strategic and operational decisions.

Seven Six Solutions was founded to bring that experience directly to clients - providing clear, independent advice where technical credibility and commercial judgement both matter.

Grounded in technical rigour.
Focused on commercial outcomes.
